Mosques inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Al-Sharbatly Mosque (38) – King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center, Al-Rawdah District, Jeddah
the mosque was constructed with modern Islamic architectural designs, featuring intricate Islamic designs with Quran verses engraved in golden hues on the interior walls of the prayer hall, dome, and mihrab. The mosque’s interior columns are also adorned with golden Islamic motifs. The specs include a minaret standing 16.8 meters tall, and a spacious dome with a diameter of 5.8 meters, elegantly decorated with modern Islamic patterns. The side facades flanking the mihrab are made of heat-resistant glass, allowing sunlight to naturally illuminate the mosque during the day. The total area allocated for the mosque and its facilities is 400 square meters, with the mosque itself covering 421.91 square meters. It includes a men’s prayer hall accommodating approximately 100 worshippers and an upper-level women’s prayer hall with a capacity of 40 worshippers.
Al-Sharbatly Mosque (37) – Jeddah Gate Project, Jeddah
the mosque was constructed with modern Islamic architectural designs, featuring intricate Islamic designs with Quran verses engraved in golden hues on the interior walls of the prayer hall, dome, and mihrab. The mosque’s interior columns are also adorned with golden Islamic motifs. The specs include a minaret standing 27 meters tall, and a spacious dome with a diameter of 4 meters, elegantly decorated with modern Islamic patterns. The side facades flanking the mihrab are made of heat-resistant glass, allowing sunlight to naturally illuminate the mosque during the day. The total area allocated for the mosque and its facilities is 598 square meters, with the mosque itself covering 640 square meters. It includes a men’s prayer hall accommodating approximately 250 worshippers and an upper-level women’s prayer hall with a capacity of 50 worshippers.
Al-Sharbatly Mosque (36) – Al-Basateen District, Jeddah
the mosque was constructed with modern Islamic architectural designs, featuring intricate Islamic designs with Quran verses engraved in golden hues on the interior walls of the prayer hall, dome, and mihrab. The mosque’s interior columns are also adorned with golden Islamic motifs. The specs include two minarets, each standing 27 meters tall, and a spacious dome with a diameter of 6.5 meters, elegantly decorated with modern Islamic patterns. The side facades flanking the mihrab are made of heat-resistant glass, allowing sunlight to naturally illuminate the mosque during the day. The total area allocated for the mosque and its facilities is 2,504 square meters, with the mosque itself covering 2,245.2 square meters. It includes a men’s prayer hall accommodating approximately 970 worshippers and an upper-level women’s prayer hall with a capacity of 370 worshippers.
Al Sharbatly Mosque - Al Muhammadiyah
The mosque is located in the Muhammadiyah neighborhood (5), which is distinguished by its general location and the spread of flower in the corridors surrounding the mosque. It was built in 1442 AH corresponding to 2021 AD. The area of the buildings with the residence of the imam and Moathin is about / 1087 / m2. The mosque was built in the modern Islamic architectural style, and the mosque from the inside is characterized by the decoration of the rotating columns of marble, gypsum carved and painted in a golden color, as well as Islamic inscriptions painted on the heat-insulating glass facades that provide natural light. The mosque is also distinguished by its Minaret, which is about 29 m high. It is topped with domes painted in golden color with a crescent in the middle from above, and the walls of the mosque are covered from the inside with beige marble with brown marble decorations. Verses from the Holy Quran on the walls of the two sides of the Mihrab in golden color, and the glass were built on both sides of the Mihrab in accordance with the architectural character of the mosques of His Excellency Mr. Hassan Abbas Sharbatly Foundation for Community Service.
Al Sharbatly Mosque - Al Shateea
This mosque was formerly known as Al-Hedaya Mosque, at the request of the Ministry’s branch and the people of the neighborhood; The old mosque was demolished and rebuilt again in 1439 AH corresponding to 2018 at the expense of the Hassan Abbas Sharbatly Foundation for Community Service. It was called “Al Sharbatly Mosque No. (29)” in Al Shati neighborhood, where it is located behind (Al Mashfa Hospital). It has a prayer room for men and a prayer room women. It was built according to the specifications of modern Islamic architecture, which is characterized by Islamic ideas and Quranic verses above the courtyard of the mosque, the dome and the Mihrab. The mosque was provided with a modern audio system, surveillance system by cameras, and appropriate internal and external lighting.
Al Sharbatly Mosque - Al Huda
Al-Sharbatly Mosque is located in the south of Jeddah in Al-Huda neighborhood and was built in 1439 AH corresponding to 2018. The mosque can accommodate more than 1000 worshippers, the land area is 2148 m2 and the building area is 2335 m2. The architectural design of the mosque was built according to Islamic architecture, where its walls, Mihrab and ceiling are decorated from the inside with Islamic decoration and Quranic verses. The mosque is distinguished from the outside by its gilded concrete dome with a diameter of /7/m, and the mosque has a Minaret with a height of /27/m, and special entrances have been allocated for people with special needs. The mosque consists of a men’s prayer room, which can accommodate more than 625 worshippers, a prayer room for women, a garden of 25 square meters, rooms for memorizing the Holy Qur’an, a private residence for the imam and Moathin, and house for the mosque worker. The mosque was equipped with the finest types of carpets lined with English felt, a central air conditioning system with a ventilation system, a modern sound system and a surveillance system with cameras.
Salha Shalabi Mosque - Al Muhammadiyah
Salha Shalabi Mosque was built in the Al-Basateen, south of the north of Jeddah, with an area of about 2025 m2 in 1437 AH, corresponding to 2016 AD, the wife of the late His Excellency Mr. Hassan Abbas Sharbatly, may God have mercy on him, under the supervision of the Hassan Abbas Sharbatly Foundation at its own expense. The mosque was built according to the modern Islamic style, and it was decorated from the inside with Islamic inscriptions and decorations, and Quranic verses written on both sides of the Mihrab. The exterior of the mosque is distinguished by its dome which was golden, with a diameter of (11.50) m. The mosque contains a prayer room for men and a prayer room for women, ablutions and toilets, suitable housing for the imam, the Moathin and workers, a library with many old books and gardens surrounding the mosque from the south and north sides planted with palm trees. The mosque also has an elevator for the elderly women, a surveillance system with cameras, a firefighting system and an excellent quality of national carpets with Islamic drawings and special calm colors.
Badr Tahlawi Mosque -Al Muhammadiyah
Al-Tahlawi Mosque is located in Al-Muhammadiyah District (5) Al-Basateen District, in Jeddah, west of Prince Sultan Street. It was built in 1435 AH, corresponding to 2013 AD. The area allocated for the mosque, its facilities and the public perimeter is (963) square meters, and the construction area for the ground floor, mezzanine of the mosque and the residence of the imam and the Moathin is about 852 square meters. The mosque was built according to modern Islamic architecture, which is characterized by Islamic decorations and Quranic verses on the walls of the mosque, the dome from the inside, and the Mihrab. A glass wall from the northern and southern sides of the mosque was designed according to modern engineering standards, which in turn puts wonderful touches on the view of the mosque from the inside and outside, and it also allows lighting during the day.
Al Sharbatly Mosque - KAEC
The Hassan Abbas Sharbatly Charitable Foundation for Community Service built the Mosque of His Excellency Mr. Hassan Abbas Sharbatly in King Abdullah Economic City in 1431 AH corresponding to 2010 AD under the program of Reconstructing God’s Houses, which is one of its many programs in community service. The mosque is located in the Baylasan district of King Abdullah Economic City, about 120 km 2 from the city of Jeddah on the Red Sea coast. It was built in the heart of the city. The area of the main prayer hall is 2,156 square meters. The women’s prayer room is located on the upper floor at the back of the mosque. The mosque includes from the outside at the northern entrance a hallway with an area of about one thousand square metres. Capacity of the mosque can accommodate more than two thousand worshipers in the men’s prayer room, more than five hundred worshipers in the women’s prayer room, and more than a thousand worshipers in the hallway. The mosque was built according to modern Islamic designs, the dome, ceilings and Mihrab were decorated with Islamic decoration. The mosque has two Minarets, each of which is 35 meters high, and the main dome has a diameter of 9 meters.
Al Sharbatly Mosque - Al Safa
The Hassan Abbas Sharbatly Charitable Foundation for Community Service. Building the mosque of His Excellency Mr. Hassan Abbas Sharbatly in Al-Safa neighborhood in the city of Jeddah in 1430 AH corresponding to 2009 AD under the program of building the houses of God, which is among its many programs in community service. The area allocated for the mosque and its facilities is 3300 m2 and the construction area is 1075 m2. The mosque consists of a men’s prayer room that can accommodate more than 500 worshippers. And the mezzanine floor, which was designated for the women’s prayer room, and can accommodate more than 100 worshippers. The mosque was provided with a central air conditioning system and a modern sound system.
Al Sharbatly Mosque - Obhur
The mosque of His Excellency Mr. Hassan Abbas Sharbatly was founded in 1430 AH corresponding to 2009 AD. The Hassan Abbas Sharbatly Charity Foundation for Community Service built the mosque in Obhur Al Shamaliah in the city of Jeddah under the program of building the houses of God, which is among its many programs in community service. Al Sharbatly Mosque is located in Obhur Al Shamaliah in Jeddah, where the area allocated for the mosque and its facilities is 4225 m2 and the construction area is 1337 m2. The mosque consists of a men’s prayer room that can accommodate more than 75 worshipers, and the mezzanine floor, which is dedicated to the women’s prayer room, and can accommodate more than 250 worshippers.
Salha Shalabi Mosque - Al Qunfudhah
It is considered the first mosque that was built by the Foundation in the south of the Kingdom in the village of Al-Shaab in Al-Qunfudhah Governorate, where its architectural style differs from the mosques that were built in Jeddah Governorate, in line with the environment in which the mosque is located according to the request of the people of the village. It was built in 1430 AH corresponding to 2009 AD. The land area is 570 m2 and the building area is 394 m2. The mosque consists of a prayer room for men and a prayer room for women, and it can accommodate approximately 400 worshippers. Provide the mosque with the appropriate sound equipment and the appropriate cooling units.

Al Aziz Mosque
Al-Aziz Mosque was established in 1428 AH corresponding to 2007 AD. The mosque is located in the Basateen district in the north of the city of Jeddah. The mosque was built on an area of 1295.24 square meters and a building area of 658 square meters, which can accommodate more than five hundred worshipers. The mosque takes a square shape in the design, which is surrounded by a garden. The mosque is characterized by its two domes painted with gold leaf, one of them above the lighthouse and the other in the middle of the mosque. The two sides overlooking the garden are completely made of glass and aluminum, so they give the mosque a wonderful shape, presence of towers and inscriptions on the stone in the corners and perimeter of the mosque. The mosque has three main large doors covered with wrought copper, and Mihrab of the mosque and its dome from the inside decorated with the most beautiful inscriptions and Quranic that were carved on plaster. The mosque consist of the residence of the imam and the residence of the Moathin.
Al Sharbatly Mosque - Al Bassateen
Al Rahman Mosque
Al-Rahman Mosque was established in 1426 AH corresponding to 2005 AD. It is located in the Al-Basateen district in the Hadith Al-Imran area in the north of Jeddah. This mosque is sufficient for more than four hundred worshipers. Its area is 1145 square meters and its building area is 835 square meters. The mosque is square in shape, consisting of a prayer room for men and a prayer room for women, and it has a large garden and parking spaces. The two domes of the mosque draw a beautiful picture for the beholder in terms of their golden shape. The first comes at the top of the Minara, and the second is in the middle of the roof of the mosque. In terms of construction, this mosque is a mixture between the modern and the old Mamluk style because of the presence of towers and inscriptions on stone in the corners and perimeters of the mosque, and it has been completely covered From the outside, it is made of natural stone and its floor is of the finest types of marble, and its sides are decorated with six circular columns. The two sides that overlook the garden are completely made of glass and aluminum. The mosque has a main entrance from three large doors studded with wrought copper. It has the most beautiful inscriptions and Quranic verses.

Al-Salam Mosque was established in 1426 AH corresponding to 2005 AD. It is located in the Al-Basateen district in Jeddah, which has a land area of 1202 square meters and a building area of 835 square meters. The mosque can accommodate more than four hundred worshipers and the courtyard of the mosque consists of a prayer room for men and a prayer room for women. The mosque takes a square shape and the mosque has its shape, which is characterized by its domes, the two are coated with gold leaf, one of them is small above the lighthouse and the other is large in the middle of the mosque. As for the building style of the mosque, it is similar to the Mamluk style mixed with the modern style, and what gives it this modernity are its two sides overlooking the garden. Ibrahim Al Khalil Mosque
Ibrahim Al-Khalil Mosque was established in 1425 AH corresponding to 2004 AD. The mosque is located in the city of Jeddah in Al-Tawfiq district – the eastern part. The mosque was built on an area of 1,720 square meters and the area of its buildings is 1,400 square meters. This mosque is sufficient for more than a thousand worshipers. The mosque is square in shape and its courtyard is composed of a prayer hall. For men and a prayer room for women in the mezzanine, the mosque contains two main entrances with large doors decorated in the Arab-Islamic style, and to the right of the mosque is a separate beacon with beveled edges, 20 m high. The minaret is similar to the Fatimid style, granite and marble cover the floor of the mosque from the outside. In the middle of the courtyard of the mosque from the inside is a smooth, spherical dome with a diameter of ten meters. Its perimeter is rectangular windows based on four circular columns. What distinguishes the mosque is its mihrab, which is decorated with decorations and Qur’anic verses, as well as the arabesque separating the men’s A prayer room from the women’s A prayer room. The mosque has several annexes, including the residence of the imam and the residence of the Moathin.

Al Sharbatly Mosque - Dubai Motor City
The mosque is located in the Motor City complex in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and its total area is about (5913) m2. The building area is about (2092) m2. The mosque can accommodate about (700) male prayers, and about (450) female prayers. The mosque was built in the modern Islamic style, which is characterized by decorations and Quranic verses engraved on the top of the courtyard of the mosque and the mihrab. The mosque’s facilities consist of housing for the imam and Moathin, housing for workers, a shaded outdoor courtyard to accommodate the number of worshipers in Friday prayers, a special elevator for women, special places for vehicles with special needs, an area for memorizing the Holy Qur’an, a school for memorizing the Holy Qur’an and an Islamic library. The mosque was furnished with the finest carpets lined with English felt with distinctive designs and colors. The mosque was provided with appropriate lighting and the eight Islamic-style chandeliers painted with gold water.
Al Sharbatly Mosque - Cairo
The Hassan Abbas Sharbatly Charitable Foundation for Community Service built the mosque of His Excellency Mr. Hassan Abbas Sharbatly in the Arab Republic of Egypt in Cairo, in the New Cairo area (the Fifth) on the seventh Friday of the blessed month of Ramadan for the year 1430 AH corresponding to 08/28/2009 CE. The mosque has an area of about eighteen thousand square meters, the area of its buildings is five thousand and seven hundred square meters, and it can accommodate more than five thousand worshipers. It is surrounded from the outside by a number of courtyards, which can accommodate more than three thousand worshipers so that they can be used during Friday prayers and holidays. An Egyptian company specialized in the manufacture of lighting units has designed a chandelier that is the largest in the world, weighing 3,000 kilograms, and 17.7 meters high and 17.6 meters in diameter. With these measurements, the chandelier is the largest in the world. The chandelier was designed in an Islamic style, as it consisted of seven floors as a symbol of the seven heavens, and in the front of which the noble verse is written, and it took more than 9 months to implement it.
Tilal Al Emarat Mosque - UAE
Al Sharbatly Mosque is located in the United Arab Emirates in Dubai, in the Nad Al Sheba area. It was built in 1426 AH corresponding to 2005 AD. The land area is (900) m2 and the building area is (382) m2. The design of the mosque tends to the Fatimid style, which is distinguished by its entrance similar to the Iwan covered with marble and decorated with a colored ribbon. Its Minaret is distinguished by three floors, ending with a small dome that resembles the dome of the large prayer hall. Its outer edges are decorated with old local stone that were used to decorate the buildings of castles in the early days of Islam. The mosque is surrounded by a wall and a garden that adds beauty to the external appearance of the general site. The mosque has been provided with a modern central air conditioning, cooling system and the latest types of audio devices in the mosque, which are characterized by purity and clarity of sound.
